My toilet overflows when I flush it. What’s happening?

Your toilet is most likely blocked. You can try to unblock it with a plunger, but if the toilet is overflowing you might need some ‘big time’ tools. Why does my bathroom smell of sewage?

There could be a blockage in your P Trap.  The U-shaped pipe under your sink runs to a larger wastewater pipe in the wall, called the P trap. One end of the P trap runs down to your sewer or septic tank and the other end runs all the way up to the roof to let fresh air in and bad smells out. My taps are leaking. Do you help with small jobs like this?

We certainly do! No job is too big or small for us. Your faucets most likely just need replacing or tightening. We can assist with this.

I smell gas. What should I do?

If you think you can smell gas leave the house immediately. Call us or 1800 GAS LEAK (1800 427 532) to come and help locate and fix the leak.

I think tree roots are messing with my plumbing. What should I do?

Why does my shower change temperature when I flush the toilet?

This is an easy fix and simply requires some adjustments to the volume of water going into your toilet. It could also mean a pipe replacement, but of course, each case is different. Read more about the causes of this here.
